The Hampton Roads Show Visits Virginia Eye Consultants to Discuss Cataract Surgery

Dr. Stephen Scoper appeared on this morning’s broadcast of The Hampton Roads Show, discussing advances in cataract surgery.

Reporter Cheryl Tan met with Virginia Eye Consultants patient Rita Matthews, who recently underwent the surgery. Matthews, who wore corrective lenses since the age of eight, now no longer needs corrective eye wear at all and has vision better than 20/20. “Everything has changed for me,” she says.

Dr. Scoper has an international reputation in his field as a board-certified, fellowship-trained specialist in all areas of refractive surgery, from cataract surgery to LASIK.  Virginia Eye Consultants was the first practice in Virginia to receive the LenSx^® laser for the treatment of cataracts.
