Getting to Know Dr. Panda

After graduating from the Rosenberg School of Optometry, Dr. Panda completed her residency at Virginia Eye Consultants before joining the practice full-time in 2022.

Prior to her residency at Virginia Eye Consultants, Dr. Panda completed several clinical internships including retina, ocular disease, glaucoma, refractive and ocular surgery perioperative management, low vision, neuro-optometric rehabilitation, visual neurophysiology and electrodiagnostics, pediatrics, vision therapy, sports vision, contact lenses and primary care.

In optometry school, she participated extensively in peer education and leadership by serving as a clinical teaching assistant, academic tutor and earning membership in the Gold Key International Honor society.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Dr. Panda is a food and wine enthusiast and enjoys spending time outdoors.
