Dr. Spogmai Khan is an optometrist completing her residency at Virginia Eye Consultants, with an emphasis on ocular disease, surgical co-management, and primary eye care.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a concentration in Biopsychology and a minor in Neuroscience, graduating cum laude from George Mason University. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. During her optometric education, Dr. Khan received a Microcredential in Glaucoma and was awarded the Omni Eye Scholarship for Clinical Excellence in Glaucoma Care. She also fulfilled the requirements to become a Student Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Khan completed clinical rotations at NYU Langone Faculty Practice, Gouverneur Health System, and Bellevue Hospital, where she provided comprehensive examinations and follow-up care across a wide range of ophthalmic subspecialties, including glaucoma, retina, cornea, uveitis, emergency and trauma, and neuro-ophthalmology.

A Northern Virginia native, Dr. Khan enjoys staying active, exploring new cafes and restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in English and Pashto. ! پخیر راغلے
