What Is Kybella?
Kybella is a prescription injection that is administered over a series of treatment sessions. Kybella is placed under the chin and reduces submental chin fat by eliminating fat cells and achieving results that improve over time. Kybella treatments are highly customizable and can be tailored to achieve your cosmetic goals.
Candidates for Kybella
Good candidates for Kybella are individuals who have concerns about excess fat under the chin and desire a non-surgical treatment option. In addition, candidates should be at a healthy stable weight, have realistic expectations, and optimal skin elasticity.

Benefits of Kybella
Kybella has many facial rejuvenation benefits, including:
- Destroys submental chin fat cells
- Eliminates the appearance of a “double chin”
- Achieves a more attractive facial profile
- Is a minimally invasive treatment option
- Results are permanent
Your Kybella Treatment
During each Kybella session, the treatment area is numbed with a topical anesthetic and then Kybella is injected in a grid pattern into the targeted areas using a very fine needle. Depending on each patient’s anatomy and cosmetic goals, between two and six Kybella treatments may be necessary to achieve optimal results, with at least one month between each session. Kybella treatments typically take 15 minutes, however, may take slightly longer depending on the size of the treatment area.

Kybella Results
Once Kybella has been injected into submental fat on the chin, the fat cells are destroyed and excess fatty tissue will gradually begin to fade revealing a more contoured chin and profile.
