Getting to Know Dr. Lago
Originally from New Orleans, Dr Lago is proud to call Virginia Beach her home since 1994. She enjoys the opportunity to get to know her patients as she follows their progress in a wide range of areas, from treatment for dry eye and glaucoma to cataracts, macular degeneration, iritis, connective tissue diseases and vision problems related to diabetes. After growing up wearing glasses, Dr. Lago had LASIK several years ago and she loves the improvement in her quality of life.
Dr. Lago has three daughters who are all interested in following in her footsteps with careers in the medical field. Two recently graduated college and her youngest daughter is a competitive swimmer who has qualified for the Olympic trials. In her free time Dr Lago enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, yoga, and cooking with friends.
