Dayna Lago, MD was born and raised in New Orleans, La. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with a degree in Biochemistry. After graduation, she then returned home to attend Louisiana State University School of Medicine, where she was president of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. After medical school, she took part in a multi-specialty internship at Mercy Hospital in San Diego.
Dr. Lago obtained her degree in ophthalmology at the prestigious Louisiana State University Eye Center in New Orleans, where she was able to train with world- renowned faculty.
She and her husband William A. Dickinson III have practiced medicine in the Virginia Beach area since 1994. They enjoy the outdoors and spending time with their three children. Dr. Lago is a warm, kind and compassionate physician who enjoys the practice of medicine.
